Following an inspection in October 2024, we’re proud to announce that our school has been judged to be Ofsted Good across all insepction areas.
The Section 5 Inspection was carried out on 15th and 16th October 2024 under the challenging framework which supports a holistic approach to education.
During the inspection, inspectors judged the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development and leadership and management which gave us the opportunity to showcase all the wonderful things that make Brookvale Groby Learning Campus a special place to teach, learn and grow.
“Pupils are happy at Brookvale Groby Learning Campus. The school’s motto encourages
them to ‘work hard, be kind’. The school is calm and orderly.”
“Pupils feel safe at the school. The school teaches them how to keep themselves safe and
maintain positive relationships. Pupils told inspectors that they trust staff to help them
deal with any issues that arise. The school provides excellent support for pupils when they
are struggling with their mental health”
“The school is aspirational for all pupils, including those who are disadvantaged or those
with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Pupils achieve well.”
“Teachers are subject experts. Well-considered training and coaching helps them to
develop their teaching expertise. They use their extensive subject knowledge to explain
concepts clearly. They plan interesting activities that help pupils gain knowledge and
remember what they have learned”
The Ofsted inspection was thorough, robust, and professionally rigorous. During the process we were open and transparent around all aspects of school life and had much evidence to support the inspection process.
